Should You Get A Wireless FM Transmitter?

Stop looking through the stacks of CDs when searching for songs to listen in your car because there is a easier way to this. The solution to this is listening to the songs directly from your MP3 players. Not only will this save you the hassle of burning your favorite songs into CD but also save you some money over time. It is much more convenient to drag and drop the songs into your MP3 players and also the flexibility to delete songs as and when you desire.

Now we know that we could use MP3 players to listen to music in our car, but is this feasible? Most of our car stereo does not have the wire to connect directly to our MP3 players headphone jack. However, by using the wireless FM transmitter device, it solves this problem. All you need to do is to plug one end of the wireless fm transmitters into the cigarette lighter and the other end to your MP3 player. Next, select the best FM frequency and match it with your car stereo and you are now able to listen to the music directly from your MP3 players.

There are several FM wireless transmitter available in the market and the more well known ones are the Monster wireless FM transmitter and the Griffin iTrip Auto FM Transmitter. In terms of pricing, both are equally competitive and there are many positive feedbacks on both of the devices. In addition to the transmitter function, they comes with a iPod charger which makes it a great buy since your iPod MP3 player will never run out of battery again.

For me, I personally prefer the Griffin iTrip Auto FM Transmitter because it gives a better flexibility with the wider range of FM frequencies available compared to monster wireless FM transmitter which has only 8 preset frequency channels. This might be a problem if all the 8 preset channels are used by your town radio stations. But, you should not face this issue with the Griffin FM transmitter since it can operate between 88.1 to 107.9 MHz and this is clearly a huge advantage.

I recommend getting the Griffin iTrip Auto FM Transmitter if you are not sure on the frequencies of your town’s radio station. However, the price of Griffin FM transmitter is slightly higher than the Monster FM transmitter. So decide for yourself which suits you better and enjoy the music in your car.
